Automotive Technology Products
Emitec is the leading player in developing highly innovative metal substrates and foil designs for exhaust aftertreatment catalysts and exhaust aftertreatment solutions for automotive and non-automotive applications. As a long-standing partner of development for engine and vehicle manufacturers– from two-wheeler to passenger car and truck – as well as for off-road and non-automotive industries tailor-made system solutions are generated. METALIT® catalysts are characterized by numerous advantages like low back pressure, easy assembly and turbulence generating structures. METALIT® catalysts are producible in a great variance of sizes and shapes (round, oval, rectangular, honeycomb etc.) for every application.
Electrically Heated Devices EMICAT®
Nearly already 30 years ago Emitec developed world’s first electrically heated catalyst for a highly innovation small serial production. Engine exhaust gases are getting colder by the efficiency-increasing measures and at the same time the limits for exhaust gas after treatment requirements are getting more and more demanding.
Our electrically heated catalyst devices support this development.
The EMICAT® is a serial product from passenger cars and shows more and more advantages in other applications as well.
